ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT – BUILT ENVIRONMENT

SALARY – R6000-00 per month (no benefits)

A contract position of an Administration Clerk – Built Environment exists at the KZN Amafa and Research Institute

The position is held at Amafa Head Office in Pietermaritzburg.

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

BA Degree or Diploma in Administration and/or a Qualification in Public Relations would be an added advantage.

Computer skills - Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access and email and internet usage.

Data Capturing and filing experience

Communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

DUTIES

Administrative support. Help desk functions. Assist with queries regarding the application process, particularly, the public consultation process. Interacting with users via email, phone, the SAHRIS messaging system. Capture data from applications submitted. Capture data for heritage registers.
