AUDIT OF HERITAGE DATABASES AND INVENTORIES
SHORT TERM CONTRACT POST
INTRODUCTION: Amafa AkwaZulu Natali is the provincial heritage agency appointed in terms of the KZN Heritage Act. It is responsible for, inter alia, maintaining the various databases of heritage sites in the Province of KwaZulu-Natal.
Amafa is embarking on a program of updating its databases. As part of this program Amafa requires the review, verification and tidying up of some of these databases.
As such we are inviting suitable persons to apply for a short term contract to perform the following duty:
VERIFICATION OF INFORMATION CONTAINED IN EXISTING DATABASES:
Audit information to ensure that all information on the databases is correct (street names, coordinates, status, etc.).
Make any necessary amendments.
The successful candidate will also be required to populate additional information into SAHRIS.
Starting date. ASAP
Amafa strives to contribute to the skills upliftment and professional development. This project is seen as an ideal vehicle for newly graduated individuals to achieve this.
